"As the proprietor of Body Shapers, I would like to tell you why I decided to set up this business. I decided to try vacuum treatments because I was fed up of my fat tummy. As a young person, I had always had a tendency to heavy thighs, but, other than that, I was very slim, and I had a tiny waist. In my forties, I piled on weight around my middle and no amount of exercise shifted it. I even considered liposuction, but my research led me to conclude that it was not for me.

Before I signed up for a combined course of Vacunaut and Hypoxi therapy, I read everything I could find about it. As a biology graduate from the University of York, I have always taken a great interest in health and natural treatments, and I was used to reading and researching them, so making sense of the available information was not difficult for me. What appealed to me was that the treatments are non invasive, and actually stimulate the circulation in the problem areas.

I put myself on a sensible eating regime that complemented the treatments and I attended 4 sessions per week for six weeks. Although I am a regular exerciser, I felt fitter as well as being much slimmer from the waist down at the end of the course. I lost weight at the time. Since then, I have put part of the weight back on, but not on my bottom half! People still stop me and tell me how slim I look! Not only that, but I found that the Hypoxi therapy also helped reduce the swelling in the ankle I had broken six months earlier.

I was so delighted with the results and the fact that the treatment actually made me feel healthier that I decided that I wanted to be able to offer this treatment to others. I have run my own Wealth Management business for over 25 years, I have expertise in it, thankfully it is successful and I am very busy, so I knew that I would not have time to run the Body Shapers business from day to day myself. Nevertheless, I could not resist getting involved.
